What's On — McNairy County & Around
The seasons that bring West Tennessee alive. Dates shift year to year — we update this page as organisers confirm, and it's always worth a call before you travel.
Spring
- Shiloh Anniversary (early April) — ranger-led battlefield walks, living history and ceremonies marking April 6–7, 1862. The biggest weekend of the year for history visitors; Selmer rooms book out.
- Pickwick fishing season peaks — bass and crappie tournaments through spring.
Summer
- McNairy County Fair (late summer) — rides, livestock, fair food and the whole county in one place.
- Lake season — boating, swimming and sunset cruises at Pickwick Landing.
Autumn & Winter
- Fall on the battlefield — cooler walking weather and colour along the river bluffs.
- Small-town holidays — Selmer's Christmas-season lights and community events.
